We offer support and mentorship to groups starting or expanding Philosophy Clubs, including stipends to support Philosophy or Ethics Clubs taking place at public high schools and middle schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plato-philosophy.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Philosophy-club-smaller.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Philosophy Club Start-Up Kit<\/strong><\/a> is available to help you get started.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Members of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plato-philosophy.org\/student-advisory-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PLATO&#8217;s Student Advisory Council<\/strong><\/a>, composed of high school students helping PLATO to expand access to philosophy education, are available to provide support and mentorship to any middle or high school philosophy club.<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are interested in working with someone on the Council or if you have any questions, please c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ontact us at <a href=\"mailto:info@plato-philosophy.org\">info@plato-philosophy.org<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><h2 class=\"tabtitle\">Stipends<\/h2>\n<div class=\"tabcontent\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PLATO offers stipends to support Philosophy Clubs in public middle and high schools in the US, including Ethics Clubs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Stipend Requirements. <\/strong>The club must include an adult sponsor. Clubs can be composed of students from a single school or from several, changing venues as desired. Members decide how to structure the clubs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Stipend Amount: <\/strong>Philosophy Club stipends are $200. A limited number are available. Decisions will be made each year in January. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>To apply: <\/strong>Applications may be completed by students or adult club sponsors.
