The teacher can say something like: \u201cif you agree with the prompt, move left, but if you don\u2019t, move right. You can move as much as you want to reflect how much you agree or disagree.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Questions\/Prompts\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>It is important to be successful.&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Success is more about an inner state like being a good person\/feeling happy than external measures like wealth, status, or change created.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Society defines what success is, not the individual.&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After each question, ask a few students why they chose their side (one on each side, one in the middle).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Slideshow (15 minutes)<\/strong> &#8211; go over <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/11fM4fyv11IQII2LFOhIrY4A8sWbFiIgpFS27MGm18vA\/edit?slide=id.g39b93129693_0_5980#slide=id.g39b93129693_0_5980\">slides<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1nAh-DcayXe5XOXK20-1o9XFJBw_60fY2eVXpf148oGM\/edit?tab=t.0\">worksheet<\/a> to write\/take notes on (5 minutes for slides, 10-12 minutes for discussion)\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After the slides, have the students discuss what they think (first in small groups for 4 min\u2014pick one question to discuss). Ask the class if there&#8217;s one they resonate with.\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Which ideas of success do you agree with? Why do you agree with it?<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Are certain ideas of what it means to be successful bad? Bad in certain contexts?&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>How has our society shaped our understanding of success?<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Is it beneficial to society for everyone to have the same idea of success?
