Headlines these days are often about naming and renaming public buildings, and conflicts over school policies that contradict what parents want. If you\u2019re a high school student interested in hashing out issues like these with older people who may feel differently, here\u2019s your chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philosophy Teaching and Learning Association (PLATO) and the University of Washington are co-sponsoring a special in-person, interactive discussion of issues like these for Seattle-area high school students and members of the UW Retirement Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is free, in-person, and interactive. Spots are limited and we encourage students to apply for what will no doubt be a lively 90-minute session. And don\u2019t worry, no philosophy experience necessary!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
