Participants will learn about the state of precollegiate philosophy in the U.S., with representatives from various precollegiate philosophy programs discussing their work, and they will learn how their schools or school systems can easily implement their own philosophy programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Winning Words Initiative, like the University of Washington Center for Philosophy for Children, is designed to serve as a resource network to help with the growth of such programs, particularly in underserved urban schools.
