I'm a philosopher who works on John Dewey (primarily) and have been interested in philosophy for children for a long time. Now that I have my own kids (4 and 7, approx.) I am now forcing myself to reconnect with this area, which I was first exposed to at a Philosophy for Children conference in Austin in the 1990's. It's ironic, isn't it, that one of the main messages of this movement (nicely articulated by you above) is just commonsense for all learning! I'm just beginning to explore your website and look into doing some teaching myself, but I am glad to have discovered your work and am grateful for the efforts you've put into making these resources available!
